Biopolis is a world-class biomedical sciences research and development (R&D) hub in Asia and home to both public and private R&D organisations including A*STAR research institutes and the research centres of leading biomedical sciences companies like Abbott, MSD, GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis. Developed by JTC, this science mini-city allows researchers to tap on shared specialised services and state-of-the-art scientific facilities.
Phases 1 and 2 of the Biopolis provide more than 220,000 sqm of R&D space for research institutions and biomedical companies. Meanwhile, Phase 3 will provide additional space for future translational and clinical research, as well as medical technology research. Moving forward, the Biopolis is geared for further expansion to meet the increased demand for R&D space.
