AMRI is a global contract research and manufacturing organisation with over twenty years experience providing customers fully integrated lead discovery, process development and API and drug product manufacturing services. The company has steadily expanded, with more than 1400 employees located in facilities throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Since 1991, AMRI has steadily expanded and globalised its contract services platform beyond its major U.S. facilities through a combination of acquisitions and green field initiatives which include:
medicinal chemistry and in vitro biology in Singapore;
chemical development and cGMP scale up and manufacturing in India;
process development and large scale manufacturing in the UK;
medicinal chemistry and custom synthesis in Hungary;
aseptic fill and finish capabilities in Burlington, Massachusetts.
AMRI provides a broad range of services and technologies to provide flexible and strategic support for discovery and development of pharmaceutical products and the manufacturing of API and drug product for existing and experimental new drugs, providing geographic proximity and creative budgetary solutions.
AMRI is also investing in a small number of discovery programs with the intention to partner promising technology, a high value added service having resulted in five clincial candidates and licensing partnerships with Bristol-Myers Squibb and Genentech.
